Food
Canada geese feed on grass, insects, fish, will also eat grain when available. They will also skim the top of lakes, canal etc
Not native to the UK, the Canada goose is very much part of the furniture. They can often be seen in our parks by ponds, lakes, canals
Description
Black neck with cheek patches, Brown and white body, up to 100 cm in length
Habitat
Can be found by river, waterways, such as small lakes ponds, canals, they will normally nest by water.
